Old Growth Trading Company, a division of Preservation Trades. Inc , was founded in 2002 by artisan and preservationist Bob Przewlocki after being integral to the field of historic preservation for nearly 30 years.When architects and builders approached the parent company requesting surplus materials and unique fabrications, a new direction was developed for this specialized supply niche. Reclaimed materials, buildings and products were then made available for a myriad of projects, both in the wholesale and retail marketplace.

Plant and Showroom

Old Growth Trading Company boasts a museum-like atmosphere in the renovated historic Hampshire Feed Mill. The setting is in the heart of Illinois' rich farm country, about 70 miles northwest of Chicago. Our building sits alongside the ICE railway that bisects the small rural town replete with an original blacksmith and butcher shop. The operation is comprised of craftsmen and artisans with a bent for the traditional and unusual.
